Even though the news will focus on swine (h1n1) flu, people should take precautions against any kind of flu during time of change in weather condition. Here are some recommendations:
- Avoid contact with people who are sick
- Keep your distance away from others when you are ill. Stay away from school or office when you are ill.
- Wash your hand constantly
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with your hand. Many times germs are spread this way.
- Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
- Exercise regularly and get ample amount of sleep.
- Drink plenty of fluids everyday.
